“In order to ensure financial and economic security, stabilize the situation in the domestic foreign exchange market, as well as protect the national interests of Kyrgyzstan, a temporary ban on the export of foreign currency in cash from the republic has been established until the relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers is adopted,” the Cabinet of Ministers says. in the message.

Non-residents and foreign citizens are prohibited from exporting more than $5,000 in cash, residents and citizens of Kyrgyzstan — more than $10,000.

“In case of withdrawal for residents and citizens of Kyrgyzstan in cash US dollars in excess of $10,000, a payment of 10% of the amount exceeding the established limit is charged,” the press service noted.
