Star Alliance Lounge at Rome Airport is now open to the public

Star Alliance — winner of the Skytrax award in the nominations “Best Airline Alliance in the World”; and “Best Lounge” — opened paid access to its own lounge at Rome Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci Airport (FCO). In addition to the “free” eligible visitors, the Lounge now accepts other Star Alliance passengers for a nominal fee, regardless of membership status or cabin class.

This is the fourth of six Star Alliance-branded business lounges to offer paid access , after Rio de Janeiro (GIG), Buenos Aires (EZE) and Los Angeles (LAX) airports.

The Star Alliance Rome Fiumicino Airport Lounge is located in the intra-Schengen area in Terminal 3. It is available to passengers on all Star Alliance member flights from Fiumicino Airport, but is especially convenient for customers traveling within Europe.

Modern and “rich” the lounge overlooking the runway is furnished with Italian designer furniture and art, recreating the culture and atmosphere of Rome's iconic landmarks and city scenes. Italian cuisine, as well as a bar serving aromatic Italian coffee and other drinks — All this works around the clock. The lounge offers high speed wireless internet access and is well equipped to cater to business and leisure travellers. It can accommodate up to 130 guests.
